Lawrence Watts

LWPortWeb02Lawrence S. Watts
Writer, Graphic artist, Animator, Editor, Cinematographer

Master of Divinity in Systematic Theology, Talbot Theological Seminary
Founder and Director,

Lawrence Watts graduated from Clemson University’s school of Architecture and worked professionally in the firms of Caban Y Ruiz, Puerto Rico; Hatfield-Halcomb Architects, Dallas, Texas; Kyle C. Boone Architects, Asheville, N.C.; Thomas Maurer and Associates, Fullerton, CA; Gabbert, Browleit, Peterson Architects, Seattle, WA; Lawrence Watts Design, Kirkland, WA.; and HH Architects, Dallas, TX.

Lawrence became a believer in Jesus Christ while at the firm of Hatfield-Halcomb Architects shortly after college, read the Bible cover to cover in six months, and quickly became a serious student of the Scriptures.

While at the firm of Kyle C. Boone Architects, he answered God’s call to attend seminary. He took a course in Greek while in Asheville and enrolled at Talbot Theological Seminary. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree with a major in Systematic Theology.

While in seminary he was impressed by the power of Audio Visual media to communicate the Truth of the gospel. With four years of photography classes and other visual art training at Clemson he immersed himself in all aspects of media production. He formed Watts and Foster Productions in Bellevue, WA. and his first production was for the Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC) of King County. This production proved to be so powerfully effective for the King County CPC other CPC’s wanted it for their use. The parent organization in Washington D.C. recognized this and made it the official production for all CPC’s nationwide. Other organizations hired Watts and Foster for their communication pieces, including Bellevue Christian schools, The Christian Action Council, Camp Sambica, Lighthouse Mission, Burden Bearers, New Hope of Washington, Impact Media of Michigan, and other non-profit, commercial and political organizations. Larry became involved with the pro-life movement and was asked to be on the board of directors of the local Christian Action Council, King County WA.

As owner of Watts Media Productions he was hired to create and produce a persuasive educational media campaign to run in Washington State. He named the campaign “Enjoy Life” for which he then wrote and directed the TV spot, “Ballerina”, a 30 second pro-life TV commercial shot on 35mm film. It was the first positive approach taken in a pro-life media campaign. He also produced radio spots, billboards, bus ads and bumper stickers for the campaign. See the TV spot here: http://youtu.be/gqr4oTJH3dc

Several years later he was hired to form an advertising team to defeat two high profile nationally funded initiatives to liberalize abortion and to legalize euthanasia in Washington State. After hiring an advertising agency and a national political consulting firm, he handled the creative direction of “Vote No! on Initiative 119 and 120. Six TV spots and many print pieces were created for that campaign.

Lawrence has worked on the staff of Lamb & Lion Ministries as part of the production team for the program Christ in Prophecy, with Dr. David Reagan since 2003, and became head of TV production in 2009. Christ in Prophecy airs worldwide on Daystar Network, NRB network, the Church Channel, Inspiration network, and other local stations.

His Nature TV was formed because of a very deep burden for the spiritual plight of kids and the need to lead children to faith and then protect their fragile faith. We see a huge need to transform their thinking into a truly Christian worldview in order to make them effective disciples of Jesus Christ.

Tech Tracker Lair?

March 10, 2014 By LS Watts Leave a Comment

We haven’t named it yet, but it will be very cool. This new set location we are working on is our character, Harrison’s, underground laboratory were he works on his inventions. It’s a place his grandfather, an eccentric collector, owns, but shares with Harrison. It is soon to become a regular hangout for the team […]
